Privacy Policy

Pixel Buddy is a service operated by Acepsoft LLC. This notice covers what is specific to Pixel Buddy. What Pixel Buddy collects

Account information. Your name, email address, company name, and a securely hashed password. The domains and buddy settings you configure.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe — we do not see or store your card number. We keep your subscription status and the Stripe identifiers needed to manage your plan.

Widget & visitor data. When the hosted widget loads on a site you operate, it uses a privacy-friendly session identifier derived from browser properties — it sets no cookies and does not track visitors across sites. We record anonymous interaction events (such as a speech bubble shown, a click, or an action triggered) with the page path, so we can show you analytics. These contain no personal information about your visitors.

Security & abuse prevention

We log IP addresses associated with account activity and requests to secure accounts and to detect and prevent abuse of the service (for example, repeated misuse or automated attacks).

Website analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand traffic. This runs only with your consent via our cookie banner, and is described in the Acepsoft Cookie Policy.

Service providers

We share information only with the providers needed to run the service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• SendGrid — delivery of transactional email.
• Google Analytics — website traffic analytics (with consent).

How long we keep your data

Account data. We keep your account and the buddies, sites, and settings you create for as long as your account exists. If your account has no active paid subscription for 12 months after a paid plan ends, we permanently delete the account and all data associated with it — including your sites, buddies, conditional messages, A/B tests, and analytics history. We email you at least 15 days before deletion, and starting a paid plan again before then keeps everything. You can also ask us to delete your account sooner at any time.

Widget interaction events. The anonymous interaction events used for your analytics are retained for up to 12 months, then automatically deleted on a rolling basis.

Billing records. Card data is held by Stripe, not by us. We may retain subscription and payment records for longer where tax, accounting, or other legal obligations require it.

Security logs. IP addresses and account-activity logs are kept only as long as needed to secure accounts and prevent abuse.
